How to politely remind her about it. I always give her generous presents, take her out for lunch, movies & a coffee for her special day. I didn't eve get a phone call.

Tell her that you know it's just after a holiday, but that you were looking forward to seeing her on your birthday and that your feelings have been hurt. I'm sure she will apologize profusely and do something extra-special to make up for it. Happy belated birthday!

Just call her and ask her how her day was casually mention you were hoping to here from her if she's a good friend that will jog her memory andd she'll realize what a jerk she was for forgetting, but when she apologizes accept her apology graciously and leave it at that you don't want her to think that the only reason you called was to get presents or special treats out of her thats not what friends are for

My goodness, leave it alone. How selfish. You are growing up and should know that things like that are petty. No offense, just go on with the day and be sure to remember her birthday. You will feel much better if you treat the situation with love. Happy birthday, I wish I could get you something, maybe next year. Many happy returns.

my friend of 34 years did that to me this year - she actually rang me a week after my birthday to wish me happy birthday.
I have finally come to the conclusion that she really is not a good friend at all - if she were she would have remembered.

Dont worry yourself about it and make sure you do that right thing and ring her on her birthday - maybe it might make her feel a little guilty.

In the meantime - HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!

Let it go... she has other stuff on her mind. It will come up in conversation eventually.
She will probably remember on her own anyway, but remember, just because you choose to be generous, doesn't obligate her to be.
My best friend hasn't remembered my birthday in over 10 years... no biggie.
I'd like to forget them too at my age :-)

I would call her and tell her the truth that you are really hurt that she forgot your birthday. If you two are really close, she will understand you being straight forward and not beating around the bush.

o cool your bday is on christmas ne who.....
umm this situtation is a little acward i think what i would do is call her and be like can we talk and ask her about it and calmly listen to what she says dont get all crazy and physco. and if her reasoning is that she simply forgot it then you should say that yall should go out to mnake up for dont make it ruin your friendship.friendship is something you should charish <3

Try to joke around about it. "Hey, do you know what yesterday was? I'll give you a hint: x years ago, your best friend was born *insert smiles and laughs*." If you have a deep friendship, a forgotten birthday shouldn't be enough to tear you apart.

Put yourself in her place. Maybe she had to do something extremely important such as family matters. I highly doubt she purposely ditched your birthday for something as stupid as to go bar-hopping considering you giver her generous presents.
