You need to price the cost of real hardwood flooring, unless you are thinking of cheaper asphalt, I'd suggest looking for a industrial/agricultural building with clear span you could convert. It shouldn't cost that much extra to use it for a basketball court, hoops and backboards would be the easy part, building seating, adding heat (in floor would be best with hardwood), etc. would increase costs, and then there is the issue of liability insurance and fire codes if you were going to make it public, that runs into plumbing for restrooms, etc..
