The U.S. would be on red alert and we would be at war with another nation within 2 days (probably one that produces oil)

The US would come back to mother Earth and join all other nations who have been hurt so.
If we haven't been bombed, what right do our troops have to go bomb other countries. (Our Armed Forces have been very experienced in this. Look at Europe, Germany, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Panama, Libya, Bosnia-Serbia, Iraq, The list is never ending...)
Why not add Washington DC to this list too?
I believe, "As you sow, so shall you reap".
Believe me, it's only a matter of time...

then the pentagon will order the strike on hawaii that bush ordered!

A new resolve to fight the war would unite us as we were briefly after 9/11. Personally I haven't forgotten.
I'm for the fight to unite because otherwise we will be toppled.

Please, don't even think about that.
The loss of life, disruption to the US economy, way-of-life, it's confidence and sense of national security would be horrific.
Then there would be the eventual consequences, please don't even contemplate it!!
