Yes. I agree, he was a good man. He brought the United States out of tough period following the resignation of Richard Nixon. He took quite a bit of heat for his decision to pardon President Nixon, but I think it was a justifiable decision.

Yes, just heard it a while ago. I think he had a good heart but not necessarily a great president. He sure had a good personality though.
