Ok, your in luck, I'm only 15 and have been playing for 9 years, and I'm in love with music, But i would definatly reccomend Elliott Smith, his music is really good and almost all of it is simple. I would reccomend Fond Farewell. But look into some older music too. A REALLY easy song is stairway to heaven, and it really helps bulding speed and accuracy as well as your love of music. Andof coarse theres Neil Young, All of his music is easy on acoustic. I hope you found help in this answer andkeep playing for the love of music!

i'm a beginner at playing the accoustic guitar too. i've looked at music on www.ultimate-guitar.com. that's a really good website for guitar tabs/chords. i just got my guitar yesterday, and so far i can play a few christmas songs like 'jingle bells', and 'rudolph the red nosed reindeer'. i also tried playing a bit of 'chasing cars' by snow patrol, 'stairway to heaven' by led zeppelin, 'welcome to the black parade'(intro) by my chemical romance, and 'never let this go' (solo) by paramore.
