To get onto any Air Force base you need to have a military issued ID card or be with someone that has one. This restriction has become very strict since 9/11. Some bases have very strict rules on who is and is not allowed on the base. I am not sure about Travis AFB specifically.

If you don't know anyone with a military issued ID, I suggest you call the paintball place on base and talk to them and see what they suggest. Perhaps they can issue you a temporary card that will just get you to where the paintball is. I would say that it's worth a phone call to find out.

You need a valid military ID card to get on any military base, unless the paintball area is open to the public and not behind the gate. Or unless you have a military person accompanying you, they can sponsor you on the base

You have to know someone to sign you in or have a military ID. Otherwise you are out of luck

Just march on in with your guns. I'm sure they won't mind.
