When I push the print screen key on my laptop then I go to paint and push ctrl+v nothing comes up can someone please help me?

Ctrl then prt sc doesn't work either i tryed pushing ctrl then prt sc and that didn't work and i also tried both simultaniously and that doesn't work either

Is the print screen key text a different color (such as blue or green)? With a lot of newer laptops you have to press a function key (fn not f1-f12) and the print screen key to get a screenshot.

You have to press CTRL then press the print screen key. If you want to save what you just captured then open paint and paste it there and save it. DONE!

try using paste after you use print screen
