ive talked to a person who works there and she told me that they give you about 30% of what they're gonna sell your item for(im not sure about guys items but if it were girls A&F jeans they're about $20 a pair there so you get about $6.. its definitely less for t-shirts and stuff like that bc they tend to show more sign of wear)
if you think your item is hot (top brand/style and in mint condition) your much better off selling that on ebay..(stuff like north face fleece, for example, are always in demand) i dont know what your items look like but it sounds like some of them might do really well on ebay! (the thing about ebay is that the brand matters a lot. there are some kids that like anything from holli/a&f/etc.)
also, they do care about season.. but i guess it doesnt really matter for jeans/polo shirts..
well, good luck!

I've never been to Plato's closet, but I've been toa lot of stores that are like it. I dont remember how much I've gotten back, though. It depends on the condition of the clothes, I guess.
Think of it this way, if you're gonna get rid of them, you atleast get something back. Or you could be a saintly guy and donate them to charity, and get nothing back :-p

I HATE Plato's closet. It really depends on the season they are looking for... which I am sure right now it's summer/prom season... if it's brand new (brand names) don't expect on getting any money for them, they are really cheap, and you could probably get more from a garage sale ( I know I did ) BUT if it is the correct season, and you clothes are the top brands and are basically brand new, you are going to get average money back. Hope it helps.,.. final thought... don't waste your time on Plato's... it's a huge rip off... probably a scam.

I have and you don't get very much for an item, it depends on where the clothing item was bought. For example you will get more from Banana Republic than GAP, I mostly sold jeans and got from 7-15 dollars for one pair

you can find some really good stuff there for fairly cheap but good luck with selling your clothes. i have brought stuff in there with the tags still on and have been offered only a SMALL fraction of what i paid for them. i would rather give my stuff away than sell it to plato's so that they can make a buck

well..they give you enough to sell the stuff there. but all stores can be different. let's see...they're really picky too. they don't like old stuff. i brought in a box and they gave me back the box and like 30 dollars. it's definitely worth it...cuz where else are you gonna go. also...guys clothes you'll probably get more because they don't get a lot. at my store they advertise for more guys to sell there stuff.

they have like each and every thing... all sizes, many shops. that is basically who bought what that relies upon on the determination. yet my buddy has offered the two an UGG & coach handbag from there for like $10 each and each i think of.

You won't get a lot of money from them. They are very picky, but they can afford to be. If you don't want your stuff anymore, I would bring it there. You might be able to get some nice stuff for yourself there!
