I didn't have my parents read my diary as far as I know. My little brother however ALWAYS stole my diary and read it, regardless of where I hid it. At the bottom of a shoebox, in the sleeve of a jacket, he found it ANYWHERE. I stopped writing in it when I was 14. That was when all my privacy was taken away. I had no more lock on my door. My room was ransacked every day. I was yelled at and abused for no reason what-so-ever, just because they were stressed out or whatever. I was never a problem child. I was doing really good in school, had great friends, everything was fine. Yet they treated me under the highest suspicion. As though I was this thief who jigged school and did drugs. I have no idea what they were looking for. I absolutely hated my privacy being invaded like that. I absolutely hate my childhood.

Yes. Why not? Write about yourself and whatever you feel like, as you have every right to express yourself. But - don't put your recent photos (your childhood photos that look different enough from you now is okay) or details that can lead to real information about you and your address. The reason is for safety. Internet is teeming with predators. Some people are looking for young teenagers/kids to hurt and even kill them. Not worth the risk.

uhh .. it depends cuz i did that but then my mom's friend had a myspace and she searched for my name and she told my mom =( i got in A LOT of trouble so if u wanna take the risk, then go ahead. all your parents have to do is go to search and type in your name and they'll show your myspace. but you should try and ask your parents if they'll let you have one just to be safe. and if they don't let you, then its your choice. no, but i would suggest getting a facebook. A facebook is liek a myspace(dont tell ur parents that tho), accept it is private, and only 4 highschools, and collages, and you have to accept the person be4 they have access to ur profile. Also, the person has to have a highschool email to login to facebook.

why wouldn't your parents let you use myspace? it's not like your gonna have sex with the people you meet. i'd say just use without permission. nobody asks anyways
