Yes, men have no rights when it comes to children. If the man wants the baby, and the woman doesn't, and then she has an abortion, too bad for the guy. If she wants the baby, and the man doesn't, too bad for the man. Either way the man loses.
I am in no way an advocate for dead beat dads. I have gone through the abortion process, and it sucked. My child would have wanted for nothing, but I had no rights.

This really depends on the legal relationship at the time of the pregnancy.
Was this an arranged pregnancy, through a fertility clinic?
is the father just a sperm donor?
Were the mother and father married, and then had a divorce, but the woman asked to be impregnated with the intention of having the baby after the divorce?
If so, was a pre-nuptual signed?
Was ANYTHING signed?
If nothing was signed and there is no written contract or anything, the woman is legally capable of demanding child support from the father.

In order to "choose to have a baby" you need a man. Even if you stated you want nothing from the dad, your baby receives 50% of his DNA from his father. So, if you are demanding money, it should be for your baby and not for yourself, unless you are somehow going to use the money on yourself to benefit the baby.

She can demand it of course, and probably will get if it goes to court. The father is the father and thus has responsibilities. That's the law.
I've heard of cases where a paternity test was done and a father was found to not actually be the father, but the courts ruled he still had to pay child support because it was in the best interests of the child.

YYYYYYUP! She could the local Department of Human Services, and they will set up child support payments. But he doesn't have to pay just based on her demanding it. Although if enough time passes, she can also get BACK child support for any months he didn't pay. It's in his best interest to help financially. I mean, it's a child. Not exactly it's fault for being born to two people who didn't work out. Good luck!

She can demand it, but actually getting it is a different thing. She will have to go to court, prove that the father is actually the father and not some random stranger on the street (via paternity test) and she can ask that the courts grant her child support.

Absolutely. The court doesn't care, it only wants the baby to be supported fairly by both parents. The man basically has no choice in the birth of the baby after he has helped conceive one. But to be fair, the man has the right to visitation, and possibly even custody.
