If you play a tournament game and ask the game to find you an opponent, play the game. When it's over, you can choose to ask that person to join your buddy list.

Hmmm... are you looking for someone you know has a webkinz account? If so, you need to know their username before you get on Webkinz. Then when you log into the site, turn on your cell phone, click "add" and type their username into the cellphone. They have to approve your request to become friends. Then when you are both on at the same time, their face will turn from red to green on your cell phone (if it's turned on). It will also make a "yoo-hoo" sound every time someone from your friends list turns on their phone. If you are having trouble finding a friend on your list, click the zone button and try a different color zone.
If you are asking how to make a friend, the best way is to go to the tournament arena. Play some games by clicking on name of game and on "Find me an opponent" button. After you finish the game, click on the button to add your opponent to your friends list. If they agree, you will be added to each other's list.
Once you have people added to your friends list, you can send them letters and gifts through Kinzpost and you can invite them to your house by clicking "invite" on your cellphone.
Hope that helps! I wasn't sure exactly what your question was. :-)

Well, if you are looking for your friend that has a webkinz, then just ask them and they could give it to you, or you can keep on playing in the tournament arena until they eventually get to play with you. Sorry if that doesn't help, I can't really explain it that well on the computer.
