Under the constitution, corporations are not even supposed to exist

DaPiv is WRONG! A corporation is NOT legally considered a person. I know, I am an accountant! I do taxes for corporations. Corporations are run by people no different from you or I. These people are the ones that go to jail for breaking laws. If a corporation is legally considered a person then they would have to put IT in jail. See how stupid that sounds?

Have you been watching the news lately and heard anything about CEO's going to prison for breaking the law?

Well legally a corporation is considered a person, so going by that I'd say that yes, they should be held the same moral standards. But the tragedy in both situations is that people and corporations make their own standards to judge themselves by.

I thoroughly agree that firms could be held to a similar ethical standards as persons. we could take the corporate examine as an occasion. Say I wrote a examine to a supplier, signed it and introduced it in replace for products. shouldn't that money be obtainable in the economic business enterprise on the time the examine became introduced? inspite of each and every thing I did obtain products for my checking draft. a individual who signs and indicators the corporate examine lots of the time and in maximum STATES, won't be able to be held criminally to blame for the examine of it comes returned as inadequate money. the seller that gained the undesirable examine is out of things and centers, precise? Why shouldn't they be entitled to accumulating on the examine as they could with a individual? inspite of each and every thing the seller did obtain a fraudulent examine. this is basically one occasion and that i've got many many greater. they should, but the bottom line is that the view from the top is to make decisions that benefit and favor corporations which many policy makers have ties to, its not the same as the average american familys' view that sends there kid off to war ... they may ask "is this such a good idea?" .. but the cost-benefit ratio is different at the top ... they see a way to make money ...
