There is no other player besides Jordan. I never understood how anyone can be mentioned in the same breath with him because of his defense. Oscar Robertson was great too, but Michael well was better, more fierce and no one could conquer his spirit to succeed.
I would say the second greatest player would be Bird. He was truly amazing and had the same will to win. He made everyone better around him. Majic had Kareem around him and WOrthy. These were 2 #1 picks of a draft. They did not need him. He had a great smile and was a great passer, but not a great defender like Jordan and was not as tough as Bird.
After that I woudl have to say Wilt Chamberlain, but I did not get to see him play when he was young. He was too dominant against shorter less skilled players. A guy who would not foul out of a game is not a person who plays hard every game.

For sure it's Michael, it's not Wilt, if MJ was around when Wilt was he would have scored 100 as well, basketball wasn't the same back then, the players are way more built now, and play harder defense. If MJ isn't the greatest, Shaq would come very close, as much as people hate to say it, he will make ANY team a championship contender, that can't be said for many people.
