because 99.9...% of parents are not ready for there children when they come. So they make mistakes and mistakes and keep making them. Its the childs job to learn from these mistakes and make less in the next generation. Humans are one of the first animals on earth that are able to break this cycle but we did it for the worst imo. Now its gona take a super breakthrough from one generation to fix all the gifts given by the older generations that choice to act before thinking. The human race will not survive unless it learns to think/talk about things before doing them. I believe we as a race are evolving at a slow rate into something that will have 2 minds in the same body as natures way of finding the solution for us. If we dont find it ourselfs or kill oursellfs first nature sure will and we will no longer be humans. My sorce is as a schizophrenic with a mild case of some times hearing / seeing things that do not exist and having thoughts that are totaly irrational. As far as I can tell the human race is either gona die off, De evolve, or evlove into something different/better then we are now. We could have had our cake and ate it too but we choice the easy and comfy path far to often. Its the few that take the hard and scary path that keep our race from die'n. Make a choice to be one of the leaders of this new brave world and not a follower of the old sick world.

Parents are in a very precarious position, part of them is a child, and in their heart they want the best for their children so in that way they are looking at you from the other side, as an adult. It sometimes is up to the child to snuggle up close to their parents and make them feel secure about you. After all they make you secure, dont they? You may find they are really human after all. You just have to bridge the gap. See they have stress and know they would love to be childlike with you but the stress level is high, so if you find a moment in time to share those moments they can be with you loving in the moments of childlike, do it and count your blessings because those are memories in your future that you will cherish forever and so will they.

Because now as adults we live in the real world. I assume you still live at home with your parents. Try to remember they were young once and probably ask the same question. And all the advice they try to give you that you think they haven't got a clue, they've already been down the road you're traveling now. And they might just be speaking from experience. Just a thought from a parent.

We once inhabited familiar terra firma until our dear child turned about 12, and then we were pushed slowly around the bend to the dark side of the universe. It took about a decade of desperately clawing our way back to the light of love and acceptance, but we percevered, and - gasp - could that possibly be OUR beloved offspring ahead?

Because in one way, we are not from the "universe" you see youself in. The world changes, each generation faces new challenges. There is also that age/experience gap. Whether they be right or wrong, adults will see the world differently to the young.

Parents forget what it's like to be kids. They are from this universe, but they're just so wrapped up in their own lives that they don't remember to relate to our lives.

because they're not. if u look really close, you can almost see their antennaes, and there's a zipper down their backs that zips their costume up so that they'll look like normal human beings
