i got this sweat shirt (at American Eagle Outfitters) and tried it on and the chest area is comfortable, i like my sweatshirts to not be baggy, but the sleeves are very tight around the forearms(not skin tight, just a bit of 'slack') and it ends at the waist, it is also light vinnilla colored with red writing, i normally would wear a large but i got a medium, the tag doesnt say "men's" or "women's"sais "M / M"(which i thought meant men's medium), im not sure if it is a women's sweat shirt or if i got it too small, but im also not sure if maybe this is a normal style for american eagle

Personally, I would go to american eagle's website, and see if you can find it in the men's or women's section.

I don't know your build, but i would think only the most muscular guys would find that their sweatshirts are 2 tight in the forearms. Could be from the women's section.

I think M/M means medium/mediano (Spanish for medium).

Im really not sure without a picture, but I do know that my medium AE hoodies (im a girl) say M/M on the tag, like an abbreviation for english/spanish way of saying medium. My best advice is to just go to AE's webpage..
www.ae.com
and look at the hoodies in both sections and try to find it or a similar one. Really I think if you wear a medium in men's hoodies, a women's hoodie wouldnt fit loose at all. Hope this helps!

You got the wrong size. You got a medium and you need a large.

Yes. It is a man's sweatshirt.
Just bring it back and exchange it for a large. If they are out of them, they can call other American Eagle Outfitter's stores to find one that has your size in their store.

Good Luck.

It may be a women's sweatshirt, but most women's sweatshirts these days are extrememly skinny. Also M/M probably stands for Medium/Mediano (English/Spanish). If this is your sweatshirt... http://www.ae.com/web/browse/product.jsp?rcid=mens&scid=cat90020&navroot=mens&productId=1186_9737
...then it is a men's, if not search around American Eagle Outfitters' website.

I own my own my own clothing company and many guys ask me to put women's designs on guys shirts. Whether its a guys or girls will people really care?

It sounds like it may have came from the miss/misses department which would make it a girls sweatshirt . The vanilla color would also be a bit suspect . Take it back if you can and find another.

yea i shop at ae and sweatshirts are usually styled like that. i think it sounds like a woman jacket though O___O. is it short? try searching on ae.com for your sweatshirt and see if it is under womens or mens.
