According to the below article, Newt Gingrich also believes Karl Rove should resign, Hillary Clinton will be the next President, and conservatives will be essentially run out of Washington in the next two years.

Newt Gingrich -- who in 1994 helped the GOP sweep Congress with his Contract with America -- has also ruled out a Presidential bid in 2008.

Is he right? Wrong? Does this erode the remaining conservative base for Mr. Bush?

I like Newt and think he is an innovative conservative thinker who has good practical ideas, and is able to articulate them very well. I hope he's wrong about Hillary, and tend to think he is. I also don't buy that he's ruled out running for president in '08. If he does, I'll work for the campaign and of course will vote for him.

Bush is on his way out, so support for him waning isn't all that important. Time will tell. Predicting politics is a game for losers, as politics is very unpredictable. Some thought Howard Dean was going to be our next president back in 2004 and his campaign fizzled faster than you can say fizzle fajizzle! lol
