I can't get into the rooms to play pool, but I can go to all the game rooms. Whats the problem?

Normally if you new, it good to buy everyone a Beer, then they know you cool. I play many Pool Halls and always get everyone a Beer before I take a man's money. It good Pool Hall Etiquette.
