If you are on your feet a lot standing or walking it will swell. I had knee arthroscopy about 10 years ago and it still hurts and swells occationally. Sometimes I have to go get shots in it and it stops hurting. Try putting ice on it whenever you can and resting it. It hasn't been very long since you had surgery and if you dont take it easy it may not heal correctly. I dont think I let mine heal all the way and that may be way it hurts like it does.

I have had two knee arthroscopes on the same knee. Each time was a little different but it was approx. 4-6 weeks total before I no longer had active swelling of any kind. It tended to get worse toward the end of the day. Depending on your job, you might be putting to much of a strain on it to soon. It should however be up to everyday walking & use. I would call your Dr if it has gone from good to worse,,, that is not normal. Something could be wrong or you may have developed an infection.

With knee arthroscopy, it shouldn't take that long for the knee to be swollen. If it wasn't as swollen before you went back to work, it should stay that way or even get better. What kind of work do you do? Maybe you should take it easy at work. Try not to be on your feet too much and ice the knee to bring the swelling down. If your doctor prescribed you anti-inflammatory medication, you should continue to take it.

You will benefit greatly with use of a cold compression knee wrap.
It will stop pain and swelling if used several times a day and speed the healing process.

Several weeks if you are on your feet a lot especially. If there is any way to take breaks and elevate your leg that would help. If your knee is warmer than your other one or stays swollen more than it had been I would go back to your doctor pronto.
