We purchased 5 songs from iTunes, but they are Mpeg4 format and cannot be changed to MP3, because they are "protected."

Our MP3 players don't play mpeg4 format songs, so is there anything we can do? Or just get our money back?

Burn it to a CD in audio format. Then get the CD and save it to your computer in mp3 format. Then you can burn those to CD in mp3 format.
fdx is wrong. I've converted files like this several times--my older computer has an older version of iTunes and that's the only way I can share music between my new and old computers. (BTW, this is legal. If I purchase a song on iTunes, I can put it on up to 5 of my computers.)

you may prefer to burn the iTunes threat-unfastened songs onto a music CD, and then import the songs from the CD. now no longer particularly complicated, in basic terms time eating. additionally, regardless of no count if that's accessible for the songs you have, you will pay a small fee and advance various your songs to iTunes Plus that's unprotected AAC and basic to remodel into diverse formats alongside with MP3.
