Your computer automatically deletes the cookies every so many days by default it is 30 days i think

You can go to the start menu, look under acessories, then system tools, and click on disk cleanup. From there you can find your computer history. You can also go the the clock above the address bar (has a green arrow going counterclockwise) to view the internet history.

Just hold down the Ctrl key and push H
Ctrl + H = History folder on left side of screen

In IE7, there is a button on the upper left side of the screen. Click it to display your history.

For internet explorer, go to favourites, intereet options. I think you may be reffering to your cookies though...
