How many of you on here had to work Christmas? I did and I work for Movie Gallery. If you did, tell me where you work and what you do. My job (obviously) I rent out movies. I'm like Blockbuster but better. But my company pissed me off, because I had to work, and stupid people "actually" came in to rent! They pissed me off. When I was little, we used to stay home!! So now I'm pissed off at people, and I want to know how many other people are pissed off, too!

Dark Knight take your answer and shove it! You are why I hate customers. You're probably the type to come in to my job and make me work. You are retrasado if you think you pay my salary. I get paid whether you come in or not! So what do u have to say to that!! Imbecil!

I didn't have to work this year. I work in the banking business but I used to work in the restaurant business and I completely understand how you feel. If customers would at least be nice and respectful to the people that have to work it would be different. People that leave the house on Christmas, Easter, and other holidays should be more considerate of the people that are out there working and forcing a smile on there face to serve them.

I work many a Christmas eve and Day, Plowing state roads so people could get to their realitives for Christmas. Or to go down and rent a movie to watch with the family.

Hey idiot, these "stupid people" keep you employed and PAID.
You would have NOTHING without them.
Christmas is just another day...
-Just another day to get TIME +1/2 for working on "holidays".
You could ALWAYS open presents a day early, or a day late. What difference does it really make? You don't like your paycheck, then quit your job and be useless. See how pissed off you are when you have to do without.
Also, DON'T get a job in a hospital, 'cause you're liable to work MANY holidays. (-It's ok if you like the money 'tho.)

Yeah, um...well, my advice in this type of CONUNDRUM would be to maybe get a different job. AND, stop calling customers 'stupid'... I don't work at the Movie Gallery, you do. Customers pay your salary.

I didn't work this Christmas. Haven't ever. I used to work for Wal-mart and we were open for every holiday except Christmas. I hated people and hated that place every Thanksgiving I had to friggen work.

Sorry, but I think people who work in convient stores (such as 7-11...etc), gas station, movie theatres, blockbasters....etc. They are the most people who work in Christmas Day.
