If you don't celebrate Christmas, then you don't believe in Jesus.

Thumbs up for everyone who disagreed. This is something my ex-mother-in-law said one time. She was and still is very narrow-minded.

That statement makes no sense at all because you can celebrate Christmas and not believe in Jesus. Right?

disagree. It's not a one-to-one correspondence. I believe in celebrating His birth, but i also know that Jesus is so much more than just Christmas.

no i disagree because i strongly believe in Jesus Christ but in my family, we have no type of christmas celebration what-so-ever. it's the thought that counts- if u know what you believe, you dont have to celebrate christmas and get drunk to prove it

disagree. My best friend's family doesn't celebrate xmas anymore because her sister died on xmas eve. They feel it is disrespectful to exchange gifts on/around the anniversary of a close, loved one's death. It has nothing to do with their beleif or disbelief of jesus. They are actually religious church-going people.

I disagree. You can believe in Jesus without partying on his birthday. He'll forgive you for it, you know. He's just that kind of guy.

That would depend on whether you celebrate it as a commercial holiday or a religious one.
