If you aren't going to give them away, can them, of course!

Instead of a regular syrup pack, make a light syrup and add about 1 tablespoon of brandy to each jar before you process them in a boiling water bath. In the middle of January or Februay, serve them for a special dessert, paired with vanilla ice cream.

Save a few fresh pears and poach them in a red wine such as a zinfandel or merlot. Reduce the wine and serve over the pears.

Make a pear tart.

Give out the baskets as "just because" gifts. Try out a few pear recipes. Donate to a shelter? Sell them on a roadside. Eat them yourself.

Preserves. The easiest-- peel, core, slice, put in crockpot layered with sugar and spices of choice (cinnamon and nutmeg-- allspice and clove)-- put on the lid and turn on to low. When the preserves are to your taste-- can and process in boiling water bath. As my Georgia mother would say-- that's fingerlickin' good on biscuits!
Pear butter. While the crock pot is going-- take more, peel and core, chop or grind-- put in a heavy pot on low-- add sugar and the same or different sweet spices, cook on low until "right"-- stirring frequently because it will stick on the bottom--again, can and process in boiling water bath....
have fun-- and remember-- with 15 baskets of pears, you'd better get going!
good luck

15 baskets of pears: you can can them for future use when they are out of season, you can slice them and freeze them and again use them when out of season in pies and to make jellies, you can also donate them to a food bank or shelter for immediate use by people who don't get a lot of fresh fruit.

They can be canned like fresh green beans from your garden . It may take a lot of preperation but they would be available and last for a good while.
