I have a men's leather jacket which I've had for a number of years now which i haven't worn for ages .

Question

I now wish to wear it but my mate says i dont suit it.Thing is i dont know whether to trust his reply.I dont know many people to ask,so im now left not knowing whether to wear it or not,any suggestions folks on what i should do.

Thing is i don't know whether i suit it i dont feel confident with my own opinions.

I love leather, a good leather jacket will suit anyone. The more you wear them the better they look.
I think you should ignore your mate & wear it.
You don't have have to be confident; you have to let other people think you are.
I'm really very shy and retiring by nature but eventually I realised that i making the most of my life. I died my hair bright red, had it cut short & spiky and took to wearing scarlet. The result is that people treat me as if i'm confident, even when I feel embarassed.

Fashion trends repeat themselves. What was trendy 5 years ago may actually be in style now. If you're not sure than use a very updated accessory (belt, tie, shoes, scarf, etc.) with your leather jacket and/or a very trendy hairstyle and you should be good to go.
Be daring and start a trend, make a fashion statement.
