A tan will definitely make you look better. Tans seems to make the body look nicer because you don't notice the flaws as easily as someone who has pasty skin. The paler the skin, the more the flaws will show. So go get a tan and strut your stuff.

No, if your way of getting a tan is bathing out in the sun (I'm from Hawaii too). As someone else said, embrace your natural skin color. I use to want a tan but now I love being light because I know that going in the sun for long hours or going to a tanning salon (for some ppl) is really damaging to your skin. Several years down the road your skin will look worst and age faster. A great option is to try on bronzers and blush. Its fun and there are so many different shades and colors that you can choose to help enhance your natural glow.

A tan doesn't make everyone look better. But if you do decide to tan, do so in moderation. I'm sure you've probably heard about moles, sunspots, sagging skin, enlarged pores, and even skin cancer which all can be brought on by too much sun, so I won't bother you about any of that. (Also, try spray tanning. It turned out pretty evenly for me, but I stopped doing so because I hate the way I look tan)

embrace your natural skin color. this fake tan bs is getting annoying. im sick of seeing orange people all over the place. also people with fair skin tend to be more sensative to the sun's rays or tanning bed for that matter.

If you are fair skinned i would be concerned about tanning and the long term effects of over tanning.

Tan makes people look healthier, and slightly skinnier....but too much tan makes you look leathered and fake...so do it in moderation!

Get a good fake one, unless you want to be really ugly in a few years.
