I'm FINALLY able to sit back and just relax ... so this year I will FINALLY just let myself stop working on things around the home about 9PM .. and I'll most likely be SLEEPING SOUNDLY right after that!

We are planning to have a family get-together and follow some New Year rituals I read about on Net this year. In India and being a Hindu, they will be new for us and would be fun, especially for children. Me and my children will choose some of the ones that look more interesting, including writing about a wish and sealing it in red envelope and burning it at midnight, in a corner of the house, where the ashes won't be disturbed, until the wishes get fulfilled, within the year. This is just for fun and we know we will be teasing each other about what we wished for, though in the same vein, no one is going to reveal their real wish. Out other programs is to try a whole new look and culture and party ideas that are unique for us as they are not prevalent here. We are also making a special CD for our family viewing in which we include all the photographs from the albums with funny voice quotes and comments. That should be fun.

Happy Birthday to both of you, I will get together with friends at a bonfire and karaoke, I don't drink so I get to be the driver, which I really enjoy knowing my friends can celebrate and get home safe.
