I had a vaginal delivery. Mine was fine and not painful. I had an epidural about 6 hours into my labor. For 2 hours before that they gave me Stadol injections in my IV. It made me sleep for an hour. I didn't hurt, but I could still feel the contractions. Before they gave me the stadol it was getting a little hairy though, but nothing serious. The worst thing was when the broke my water. That HURT. They also put a heart moniter lead on Aidan's head in utero while I was only 2 cm dilated. That hurt like hell. I cried on that one. That was really the most painful part of it. I waited about 2-3 months before I had sex with my husband. It was a little different the first time but not too much. I was just scared b/c I had an episiotomy during my delivery and was scared it was going to rip back open. Your body WILL CHANGE honey. Aidan is 5 months old. I only gained 30 pounds when I was pregnant. 20 dropped very quickly b/c I'm breastfeeding. The other 10 is hanging around. I've been doing pilates, but when it gets warmer me and Aidan are going strolling ;) I had night sweats after we came home from the hospital. I was incredibly sore. In my experience, the after effects are way worse than the actual delivery. I was in more pain later that night and the next week than anytime during his actual delivery. You will just feel SO sore. I felt like my body had been hit by an 18 wheeler. No worries though honey. It is worth it. Make sure you get the book What to Expect When You're Expecting. Good Luck.

In my opinion, natural birth is much easier. I've had three, and I felt pretty close to normal after a couple of weeks. My sister in law has had three c-sections, and she took several weeks to recover. As for sex after the baby, I have found that it is much more satisfying. Physically, I really can't tell much difference. I now have a closer bond with my husband because we created life. I am much more in tune to my body. Not to mention, my husband now appreciates my body for what it was able to do (grow and nuture our beautiful children). Those aspects make sex incredible after a baby! Having a baby is an incredible thing, and I think it only makes life better (if you're ready :)

c section takes longer to heal and is mor painful afterwards. Do natural unless they feel the babys life is in danger. It does hurt, not gonna lie. I did natural with NO drugs 2 times in 16 months.
Sex will be painful afterwards cause if you do natural you will have to wait 6 weeks for healing or depending if you tear or not. YOu need to talk to your dr about the c section. If he feels you are in good enough health he should encourage natural. good luck

I have a murmur and had a regular vaginal birth, they just monitored my heart. C-sections should only be used for medical emergencies, it's risky for the baby. If you practice kegel exercises sex will be great if you have some rest lol.

Natural childbirth is always better, after all, it's the way Mother Nature intended it to be. If you want a quicker recovery, c-sections are NOT it.
