If Hillary Rodham Clinton wins the nomination to run, She'll get my vote, my wifes vote, and my daughter's vote. America is long over due for a woman as president.

I wouldn't support condoleeza rice in any elective office, simply because she's helped to created the problems we have in Iraq today. She's a liar just like bush and the rest of the scumbags in the current administration.

Senator Snowe a republican from Maine, I'd support her candidacy but she's not yet said she'd ever seek the office.

Kaye Bailey Hutchinson R-Texas, I'd never support her nor would I support that wacko ***** Elizabeth Dole. Both are a couple of conservative sick republicans.

Frankly i wish they would do away with the political parties and let people stand on their own for election. I get so sick of this political fighting amongst the parties.

I know of no woman who is qualified to be the President of The U.S. Hilary will run but I hope and pray that she doesn't win.
We don't need 4 more years of the Clintons, 8 was plenty.
If we had a good qualified candidate, then my answer would be yes. Women do just as well, if not better, in the workplace than men.

Depends on who the woman is....if it's Hillary, the answer is no! We'll never be ready for that. But if it is someone like Condi Rice then maybe. In my view, the problem would be, most women have emotional reponses to everything whereas most men do not. Although that's not the problem with Hillary, I'm not even sure she has emotions other than anger.

having ANY new president would change our lives.. gender doesn't matter.

I think the real question should be.. Why do some people think that a woman being president would be an issue?

I think the right woman could be elected President; however, I'm not sure what constitues the right woman.

Generally speaking, for a woman to win the vote of the general electorate, she would have to be very assertive and appeal to the moderate voters.

Yes, definitely yes. We need a women who will think with her brains instead of with testosterone. The conflict management style of our previous male presidents has involved intimidation by show of force, escalating rhetoric, and ultimately all out war to settle international problems. I believe a woman president would encourage dialog and compromise to calm ruffled national feathers and avert conflicts.

can't speak for anyone else, but I'd vote for a woman. Not the Jr. Senator from NY though.

Heck yeah! We've been ready. At least some of us have. Would love to see one if not soon then by the time my daughter reaches adulthood.

Yes. Too bad Condi Rice won't run. But Hillary, that empty shell of a person, who can actually reinvent herself, I would rather vote for Obama.

They may say they are ready but the votes will tell the truth. They have to put their vote where their mouths are. I doubt it.
