It is Italian, and a commonly used musical tempo term. A piece labelled "Allegro" is to be played rather quickly and lively. As a noun, it can also refer to a movement (usually the first) in a sonata/symphony in the classical style that is played with a fast tempo. For example: the classical form of a sonata is often called the "sonata-allegro form".

Allegro originates from latin like alot of spanish and italian words do. It literally means happy and gay. In musical terms, it is a tempo(the speed or pace of a given piece) that is quick, lively and/or cheerful.

In music, "allegro" means to play with speed, if I'm not mistaken. As for a spanish translation, sorry, but I can't help you with that.

I'm not really sure what Allegro means but I have taken a few years of Spanish and "Allegre" means happy. Allegra is also a prescription but I think you knew that.
