There are a few...the slime was a running theme on most of the shows at the time. Double Dare, Slime Time, Figure it Out...You Can't Do that on Television was the first show to use it though.

Lots of shows were like that, but I think you were talking about Figure It Out, where the contestant had a secret, there was that head thing, and the panelists had to figure out what the contestant was without saying the secret word for the day, otherwise the slime would fall.
Was that it?

"You Can't Do That On Television" it was a canadian based kids show in the 80's.........Alanis Morissette was on there too !
I think she made a better child actor*.

Probably You Can't Do That On Telelvision, but they also did that on Figure It Out. Figure It Out was much later than YCDTOTV.
