There are different reasons for incarceration. What about the different reasons for cheating?

Unbelievable. Most women pick the salad tossing jailbird over the law abiding adulterer.

Depends on what the husband is in jail for really.

I would definately pick the incarcerated husband over a cheating husband any day. For one when your husband is incarcerated chances are it was not due to personal behaviour towards you. Where as cheating is definately personal and l feel it is a lot harder to live with.

If a person is incarcerated obviously they did something that broke the law. A husband who cheats does not respect the person he is with. I think they are both terrible and I don't think I would put up with either of them.

Either way, I would not have a husband for long. The incarcerated husband could possibly be forgiven, depending on the reason for incarceration.

Husband that cheated!!!!! I've had a boyfriend that was incarcerated (something done before we met) and a husband that cheated so yeah, I'd say a husband that cheated.

Unless he is incarcerated for something he didn't do..... it wouldn't matter to me. To commit a crime that puts your wife through that kind of ordeal is just as crummy as cheating with another woman/man (Yeah... there's that too!).
A man should be decent and faithful. Bottom line: If you love your wife, make choices that help your marriage and life together.
Best Wishes,
Sue

well a cheating husband would not have a second chance. A husband in jail would be better depending on the reason he was there.

husband who cheated. If he is incarcerated, then the prison system can (hopefully) help him out more than I can. If he cheats, then no one can help him out except for himself.

Both are the same to me, except the cheater would be thrown out while the jailbird is thrown in.
