no, it's not. Limewire is a P2P sharing system. So basically, one person takes music off a CD and puts up to share with the public. Someone else downloads it from their computer using limewire and now its available for someone else to download from them and so on. So basically the music is being shared by thousands of people. So think of it however you will. :)

you have not read the news papers? no it is not legal ...copyright music has to be paid for.. and if you pay for it then yes you can download it legally

Limewire is not the server your downloading from it connects you to other peoples computers Pc2Pc file swapping is illegal if the files are copyrighted and that makes 95% of all files swaps illegal
