With my last child, I was on Ortho-Tricyclen. I took it faithfully and wasn't on any kinds of antibiotics. The Dr said that sometimes it happens anyway. The nurse I was talking to at my 1st OB appointment said that there had been quite a few women come in to the office for prenatal care that had been on the Ortho-Tricyclen. Don't know if that says anything about that particular brand or not LOL.

Twice, on Ortho Tricyclen and I was also taking an antibiotic for infection. These two work against each other. Both babies are healthy and grown up. This was in the day they didnt know about taking the 2 RX's at the same time.

Yes, I was on Yasmin.... I took it regularly and think another medication at the time interfered. My son is now 14 months old, and I have been on Yasmin again since he was 2 months old.
I also had been on this pill for 2 yrs prior, and another pill for 3 yrs before that. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the time being, and haven't taken that medication since.

With my third, yes. I was on Ovcon 35 (a pill), and I took it every day without missing one. The only thing I can figure is maybe I took it a couple of hours later/earlier. I have a beautiful baby girl, though!

Got pregnant on Micronor (minipill progestin only pills), condoms and the contraceptive sponge. Also on the withdrawal method but that's not a real method.

just let's say the only guarantee you'll ever have is abstinence because where a birth control substance could be 99% effective when used as directed, you could be that 1%. like so many people are.
