I'm an exchange student in france right now, I got here in August and I'm going back to the states in July. The best way to not get homesick is honestly to forget about home. Bring a photo album, ask friends amd family to write you letters to take with you, but try not to get too nostalgic. It helps a lot to just keep busy and focus on your life, not to think too much about home.

My faith! I'm going away for 6 months to work. i know nobody!
The only reason i can go is because i know that God is watching over me, and he's always there to talk to and find comfort in, even if my family and freinds are not around.
He's quite compact and travel-friendly too :)
