His music will live on forever. Godfather of soul. True his personal life wasn't squeaky clean, just like most artists around, and i don't condone beating your wife! or drugs and jail time. But you have to admit his music was awesome and he did donate a lot of time and money to charities.

He had some problems in his life, but he was also a good man at heart. Even this year, he went about his big toy giveaway for Christmas, which he did every year.
He was truly a music legend. The world will miss him. :-(

He was abusive to women and a drug addict.....he did have one good song however. Sorry for your loss.
