Its impossible to prove that its murder before the two week period, but what about when the baby has a heart beat. The heart develops within just two weeks of a woman's pregnancy. The heart beat could be used to detect when life begins. An abortion procedure would stop her babies heart from beating. Wouldn't this be considered murder then. If the heart is beating then the baby must have a pulse, if it has a pulse, then it must be alive and human. When someones on conscience the paramedics always check to see if that person has a pulse, if the person has no pulse, then they have no heart beat and the person is dead.
If someone had a heart attacked an their heart stopped for a period of time, they would die. If the baby's heart stopped for a period of time, then the baby would also die.

If they can tell is alive or dead by their pulse (heart beat) then they can tell if the baby is alive by their heart beat (pulse) If the baby is 4 weeks old, then the baby dies and the woman has a miscarriage, then that means the heart has stopped. If the heart is stopped then the baby must have died. Since abortion stopped the beating heart of the baby, it must have died. Since the mothers attention was to stop the
babies heart from beating then it must be murder, even worse, premeditation murder. She planned it because its not something you do without putting a alot of thought into it.

Most abortions happen after two weeks. Most people will use rape, incest, and the danger of the mother to excuse abortion, but in most cases, its not because of those reasons. This only accounts for 3% of abortions that happen.

To answer your question, some people are not you, therefore they don't "understand" that abortion is murder because they are wired differently.

You know, when I see anti-abortion questions like this, sometimes I like to look at other questions they've asked. How strange to find this one, quite the paradox.

You have unprotected sex with prostitutes and strippers on numerous occasions but you're prostelytizing about the ethics of abortion? Interesting.

First off, if you don't have a pulse, technically you are dead, but there are tons of procedures that can be performed to bring someone back to life. Brain death is the true measure of death, and it's impossible to determine by a pulse check.

I'm very much pro choice for several reasons. Personally, I don't believe that a person is "alive" until they can exist outside the mother's body. Until then, they are pretty much a parasite, dependant on the host for life. Just because you have a heartbeat, that doesn't make you able to exist by yourself. At the 28 week is when most fetuses are capable of life outside the womb, but I think that abortions are perfectly fine until then.

If that unwanted baby is born, who do you think will suffer? Cats and dogs get "abortions" every day, in a spay surgery to prevent unwanted litters. They would have grown up to be perfectly normal cats or dogs, but they are aborted because there are so many unwanted puppies and kittens out there. There's just not enough homes and no one wants them to suffer a painful and unwanted life. If we are that kind to animals, don't people deserve the same right? An unwanted child suffers a lot more than an unwanted puppy. A mother forced into motherhood usually isn't a good mother at all. Sure, there are options for adoption, but not all babies are adopted. There are lots that suffer in orphanages wondering what they did wrong.

If a teenager accidently becomes pregnant, is she forced to ruin her life with a child, when she is little more than a child herself?

If a woman is raped, should she have to suffer with the daily reminder of her attack?

If you don't believe in abortion, then just don't support it and don't have an abortion. No one's forcing you to have one done. However, don't try to take away my right to choose.

Honey, as much as I am pro-life and I do agree with you on this, you are beating a dead horse here. So many people have their own opinions on this very touchy subject. In one way I am pro-choice......I do think a woman has the right to chose what she does with her own body, just like she will be the one to pay the price later. She's the one that is going to have to live with this decision and eventually pay for her actions in the end. I personally could NEVER kill a baby, no matter how it was conceived or what the outcome would be. I am going to have a new step grandbaby sometime in June who was conceived by rape. My step daughter was raped and became pregnant. She knows that it isn't the baby's fault because of what happened to her. Yes, she still has trouble with the fact that she was raped, but she's slowly recovering from it. She felt the baby move last week and she said that it helped her alot and made her a little more excited about it. I think that everyone has a right to their own opinion and no one on earth should judge them for it.

First of all let me say that i am against abortion no matter what and a baby has the right to live if at all possible but we that is U and me don't have any right to dictate our feelings or opinions on others especially women aborting a baby for whatever their own personal reasons or feelings. U and i won't have to live with that decision thank God for that. And since we I am now mentioning God, HE didn't make u or me sole Jury, Judge and Executioner of His feelings. He and He alone has that right, so if u r truly a Christian or pro-life believer u will put out the information about how abortion can hurt the mother as well as the unborn child and leave the judging to God. Prayer goes a lot longer way than u know or think or r u thinking at all? STUDY don't just read ur scriptures and get to know who u profess better He loves the sinner more than anything in the world. That is the sinner who comes to Him with a contrite heart and broken spirit. Now cast the first stone if u can or dare. I'll keep u in my prayers. In Jesus' name, Amen.

You are correct, abortion is murder. From the point of conception, the child is a living human being. All that is added after conception is time, nutrition, and oxygen--the same things we all need to live and grow.

The baby's heart begins beating 18-21 days after conception. By six weeks, the baby has little fingers and recordable brain waves as well. Virtually no surgical abortions are committed before this point, due to the risk of incomplete abortion. For more on abortion, see:

Having an unwanted child ruins at least three lives- the mother, father, and the child. And what of rape, or when it is necessary to save the mother? What then?
And, let me guess, you say put the baby up for adoption. Well, how many babies have you saved from abortion?
*edit*
I repeat, how many aborted babies have you saved?
And even if you outlaw abortions, they will still happen. People kept on drinking during the Prohibition, didn't they?
All that will happen is that abortions will be performed illegaly, and as no doctor can perform them properly, most likely many women and their babies will die or be seriously injured.
Thousands of people's lives will be ruined because of this, or one stupid mistake in judgement, your tax money will pay for it.
But you know what- I'm not going to even try and convince you. And please don't go talking about god and jesus and a good christian- we live in America, and last time I checked, the 1st ammendment says we have freedom of religion

I am a pro-choice, an to me if your not outside the womb it's not murder. But that's my view. I believe in god an I do not judge anyone for anything they do because one day I will be judged by him an only him. You tell me about priest that are doing things to children, an then these children can't live with what has happened to them so they comment suicide. Are we going to send the Priest to prison for murder cause he did kill the child in one way or another
