I want to return a piano. I have the box and everything. Will they give me my cash back without a reciept?

Yes. I returned a couple of my kids toys today without the receipt. They gave me a "store credit" which I then just took to the register and they traded it for the cash. I was shocked they would give cash for a return without a receipt, but WalMart is one of the last places that is truly all about the consumer.

Probably not. Wal-Mart has really strengthened their return policies. You can try - especially since it is the holiday season. Plenty of people without receipts will be returning items to WM. Give it a try - but don't be surprised if they turn you down. Always, ALWAYS argue (nicely) with them. Ask to see the mgr. etc. First and formost - be sure that the item you are returning was purchased at WM. They'll scan the barcode and if it isn't one of their items, they'll be able to turn you down. It doesn't matter even if it's a well known item, sold in many stores. Good luck!

i return this to walmart all the time without a reciept and i get cash. of course these are little things like the wrong type of soap or something

Sorry, NO cash back without a receipt. They will give you a Walmart Gift Card.

I have done this several times. They will not give you cash but they will give you a Wal-Mart card with the total cost of the item on it.

Store credit is exactly right on all you can get. A gift card for the purchase amount or an exchange . Been there done that before.

Don't know what their corporate policy is...but as a general rule, they won't give you cash back without a receipt. They'll give you a store credit for it...but not cash.

must be a toy piano for kids.
You probably will not get cash back, but if you charged it to
visa of Mastercard they will credit that charge card, otherwise
you will get store credit only. Sorry

If you paid in cash, no. Best chance is to get store credit. If you bought it on a charge card there is a slim chance that you can get it credited back on.
