I'm not going to answer your question directly, but I'm going to give you the details.
PS3 can be described in a few words. Firstly, overpriced. But if you can get past the price, the graphics are really good, and the PS3 is basically a computer. It has internet access, a hard drive, and wifi(wireless internet) if you get the premium model. Above all that the PS3 also has a wide range of games and has many notable series such as Call of Duty and Rainbow Six. The controller has some motion sensitivity, but has not changed much from the PS2 Dualshock 2 controller. All in all, if you can find an affordable PS3 without getting shot or robbed, then I say go for it. There are superb graphics, a wide selection of games, and a variety of other functions.
Now for the Wii. This console was made for a wider variety of age groups. That is to say, there will not be "tons" of shooters or extremely violent games. I'm not saying that there "won't" be shooters or violent games, I'm just saying I think that there won't be many. The Wiis graphics are just horrible, they will make you sick the instant you start playing. Call of Dutys graphics are so bad people cannot distinguish between a Nazi and a tree. Don't let this deter you though, as there will be better games such as Super Smash Bros Melee. As for the controller, a great idea in my opinion. The wii controller has full motion and pointer sensitivity, so you can aim the wii remote like a gun in shooters and slash like a sword in games like Red Steel. Overall, the Wii is a compact and inexpensive gaming console with bad graphics. A good buy if you can past the graphics.
Now for the Xbox360. I honestly don't know that much about it since I really don't like Xbox's. I'm hearing that its graphics are beautiful and it has a wide selection of games. It is however, heavy and big, although not as big as a PS3. The controller has no motion sensitivity, but they can be played with up to four wireless controllers. I've been hearing that 360s can be glitchy sometimes though, not sure how glitchy, but Ive never encountered it. Basically, the 360 is in the middle in price and capability.
And I like Corvettes.

WII:
PROS:
$250
Motion sensing controllers, detect where they are at all times, enhances gameplay, wireless
Many classic Nintendo titles (Zelda, Metroid, Mario...)
Virtual Console, gives you the ability to play old classic games for a small fee.
Small, the Wii is about the size of three DVD cases stacked on top of each other.
Fun for whole family, such games as Call Of Duty and Red Steel are targeted for mature audiences, yet they still offer, Wii Sports, etc.
Backwords compatibility with GC games
A little slot that lets you insert your digital camera memory card and store photos on your Wii.
CONS:
Definitely the graphics, they look at best like the original Xbox
Idiots using the Wiimote, a lot of people aren't using the wrist strap, and they're breaking a lot of stuff due to it flying.
HD compatibility, some games don't cooperat very well with HD TV's (such as Kyle Babbit's 52 incher)
Controller takes a lot of batteries man
NO DVDS OR CDS, the Xbox and PS2 were doing that.
XBOX 360:
PROS:
Incredible graphics, the best around
Wireless comfortable controller, no motion sensing controller, they're sticking to the good ol' regular one
HD compatibility
Xbox Live, the 360 has great multiplayer man
Shooters, Gears of War and Halo 3 being two.
Backwards compatibility with Xbox games
Purchase mini games, movies, and TV shows.
CONS:
Loud system (exhaust fan)
Notable titles...yet
To play online need an Xbox Live subscription
PS3:
PROS:
Good graphics
Grand Theft Auto 4...period (like next year I think)
Very nice looking system
Light easy to use controller
Motion sensing controller, they stole the Wii's idea for the controller
Plays Blu-Ray and DVDS
Ability to connect to Wi-Fi
CONS:
Hella expensive
Not great games so far
The Sixaxis controller goes dead quick, and you can't play with the controller while it's charging
Fingerprint magnet
No rumble in controler
HDMI cable not included

The Wii
Because it gets people to play with you, gamers, non-gamers, casual gamers, whatever, they all want a piece and it's great to play and interact with other people.
The PS3 and 360 are nice machines, but they are too expensive for games. Both have better graphics than Wii, but I seriously don't care that much because eye candy does not equal fun. Great online play for 360, but seriously, PC are just as good if not better. PS3 is just a huge ripoff cuz of the blue-ray, it's too soon for a format change, DVD is still great IMO.

Wii's best if you want fun games with an alternative interface and a HUGE back-catalog. It's all about gameplay, gameplay, gameplay.
The XBox 360 and PS3 have better graphics, though. So if you care about polygon counts and that the character's hair is moving just so, they'd be better.

PS3, it has the best of everything. The 360 is inferior, and the Wii is just stupid. "Oo, an interactive controler! I must be a retard to think this is cool!"
