As long as he is alive, he will be a focal point for terrorists.
I had to laugh at the thought of Saddam all alone in some camp; out there every day trying to break this big boulder with a pickaxe, or making Iraqi license plates.

Did you mention concentration camps? It is not going to be a moral question here.Who else do you think should be put in a camp.?
He should be tried by the by an international court under international law.He should not have been tried by a court in Iraq.
It may be right to try him and execute him but that action will send the middle east up inflames. It might look fine for some in the west to see Shia against Sunni in war but what you have to remember is that one side is going to win and when they do they might start really concerntrating on the western world. World War 3

I don't think working him to death is the way to go really. I do believe the Iraq gov't should allow the families and friends of his victims have a crack at him with baseballs. Kind of like a dunk tank only his body is the bulls eye. No facial shots though as they would kill him faster. If he survives then let them have a 2nd round but with bats.
Its pretty pathetic how many people say WE as in the US are going to kill him and WE meaning our courts are the ones that have sentanced him. Sure, some leaning and whispering in ears may have occured but IRAQI courts have handed down the sentence, not us.

Oh dear, what about his rights?
On a more serious note, I knew one of the men who found him in that cave. I can't believe he wasn't shot right there. I would have. He can work off the debt he owes the people of Iraq, and everyone else he has criminalized by dying.

I think you have been listening to alot gorge oil barren bush propaganda .Sadam was not a threat to our country .We are the people that made him what he was .We equiped his army to fight Iran .Bush is the biggest oil barren in Texas and iraq has some of the largest oil reserves in the middle east .What a coincedence how high gas was then suddenly the price dropped right before the election. We lied and said he had weapons of mass destruction to invade the country .He was on trial for killing 148 people .We have killed 500,000 civilians with bombs .He had a society that was stable not blowing people up every day walking down the street .Look at the caioss and killing there now that we have given them democracy .Our country is in more danger now from terroist attacks as a result of us invading iraq than it was before .Every country in the middle east hates us .Its cost us tax payers hundreds of billions of dollars when in our own country people are struggling with hard times .We lost 8 million dollars that no one knew what happened too . Plus some one stole 300,000 small arms there from us .Thats more guns than we have troops there .Its cost the lives of 3,000 sons of America for what .The people in the middle east have a completly differant culture than we have .They have differant customs and veiws than Americans .We have no busness going there and trying to force feed them our beliefs .No more than them coming here and trying to make us conform to their beliefs .Ask your self what you would do if that happened .You would probably have car bombs here, trying to get them out of our country .If they had the power we have , and things were reversed .Or would you conform to islam .Besides that hes 70 years old .Are you no better or differant for killing him than he was killing people .Do you really think he got a fair trial ? That was cut and dried and nothing but political stage show for the U.S.A. .I know people have closed minds and believe everything the government tells us ,but there is a reason we are hated in so many places .I love this country and people but our government is corrupt beyond belief. They are robbing the people of other countries and the people of our country.

I believe he should have to pay for what he has done, but it looks like a hanging is all we are likely to get out of him, and thats only if they do it before 30 days is up. I don't know what happens after that.
While it would be interesting to know that he was busting rocks at fulsom prison, someone would either have him busted out or killed.
Thats just my opinion........
I don't hate you, I think you ask very interesting questions.

I support triteamdan's method. Give him back his old job! After all, he did better in keeping the Iraqis disciplined, and that too without any Al Qaeda elements in Iraq.

Yes. Why should anyone have to feed and clothe him. He's evil incarnate and shouldn't be allowed to breath air. Also, I think he should be put to death with the same gas that he used on so many of the people that he killed. Let his last breath be gasped as theirs were.

Everyone that hates him should be allowed to have a shot at him.He could be chained to a wall, you could have your choice of abusing/torturing him(hittin w/a rock in a sock, taser, whip, piece of chain,bb/pellet/ gun, etc.),and that could go on everyday until everyone has had their turn, then kill the bastard.

Well, we're only going to kill him because we were against the whole concentration camp thing since back in WW2. Yea he does deserve more but we wont do more because we dont wanna be hipocrites. so unfortunately for those of us who want more we won't be getting more, it sucks really.
