I say its not fast food restuarants. I say, its people so used to getting everything so easy and this comes back to how they were raised. Don't you think we live in a society where we blame our past but never take responsiblility of how we handle our future? Do you think we live in a" Point the finger at everyone else for our problems" and never take the time to point the finger at ourselves? I say its people not taking more action at the way the Government offices should investigate people who claim disablility, yet out raking the lawn and playing basketball per say. Claiming they have limited mobility. Free loading has got to stop!!!!!!!!! No wonder we are all getting fat. Back in the good ole days, they didn't worry about obesity, they worried about making a living and getting off thier butts to do just that. They had no government to sponge off then. How, did we get to this I ask?

People themselves and Society.

I think back in the early days they didn't have much of a welfare system. Once people see how they can collect money without lifting a finger, why shouldn't they? Who wants to work?

Society has also encouraged obesity...just look around us, fast food, buffets...??! Fast Food and buffets only benefits one person and that's the business.

It's not just food that's causing obesity, it's also the abundance of hi-tech gadgets. Kids & folks no longer want to do physical activities...their activities consists of laptops and video games. There's no good old fashioned imaginery games and friends.

In a nutshell? Yes, we're to blame for our obesity.

Disagree. My mothers and fathers provided good healthful foodstuff for all 3 of their toddlers. My parens and siblings have been time-honored sized. They weren't lazy in any respect and fairly energetic. i replaced into an extremely fat and obese toddler. replaced into that by using fact they have been lazy? No, it replaced into by using fact I enjoyed to consume an excellent form of foodstuff and that i enjoyed being fat. I went from 200 plus in 4th grade to over 450 in extreme college and after dropping the load in my 20s, I put in decrease back on in my 40s to now be 620. I in basic terms replaced into and happier being obese. It had no longer something to do with my mothers and fathers being lazy. they sometimes reported my length yet as i replaced into happy, nicely adjusted and nicely knowledgeable, they permit me make the determination to be super.

I agree. I think that many people are very lazy and won't take responsibility for their decisions and actions.

personal responsibility. We know what world we live in, and it is up to us to adapt. How we feed our kids, how lethargic we get, how much television we watch, it is all within our control.
