I think Jeff is right. Judging by your other questions, your hitting puberty. What you have experienced is often called 'growth pains' and can be exacerbated by sports and other intense knee movements. The reason is that as your body starts to produce more hormones, you go through growth spurts. Unfortunately some parts of the body can grow at different rates. In this case your bones are growing faster than the tendons that keep them together which causes micro-tears. This will usually settle down once the particular growth spurts slows down but in chronic cases you can develop whats called Osgood Schlatters syndrome...dont ask me about the spelling but i can guarantee I spelled it wrong. This is where the bones in your leg grow a lot faster than the tendons for a long period of time. The micro-tears in your patella start to heal but keep tearing. This can form large calcified growths under the knee. Nothin dangerous but sometimes uncomfortable when you kneel down.
It's just another part of puberty and probably isnt much to worry about but if they keep hurting, best go see a doctor.

Most likely it's micro-tears in the patella tendon(from the front of the shin to the knee cap). The doctors put people on ibuprofen for that. And take it easy. It can take MONTHS to heal.

The same thing happened with my elbow bone. It was an invisible and the only cure, the doctor said, was to give it time and it would slowly wear away or you would get accustomed to the feeling. But as they say, no pain no game, right!
