Yes and yes. Read the instructions on the box, they are actually accurate for this :) Take your time, be careful of creases. Bubbles can be worked out in time and with a heat gun or hair dryer. Precut a template helps. Goodluck.

Depending on the state in which you reside, this could cost you a ticket. For instance, in Pennsylvania, almost any private tinting will get you pulled over with a minimum of a $50 fine. Look into the laws of your state before you decide to tint your car windows.
I've never tinted windows myself but I work on a car lot so I talk to a lot of pepole who have. I've found that the larger the window, the harder it is to tint without ending up with air bubbles. Be patient and plan ahead and you'll have the best results.
Good luck.

if your car is a 1988 or older then its not hard as most glass in the car is flat.
if your car is newer it takes tallent as most windows have a curve if not a double curve and tint material does not like to bend like that.
by the time you go to an auto parts store, buy the stuff, make a mess in your car, try and make it look right...you are better off just going to a pro. they will do it right, no errors and have it done in a few hours. besides normall its no more than $125 if you shop around.
plus the tints you buy at auto part stores is cheaper and has a purple haze to it where a tint shop will use actual good tint material that is black/gray in color

no it is not difficult to tint windows you just need patience. there is a kit at your local parts store that contains all the things you need to do it. When and if you do it yourself i suggest cleaning the Windows with a professional strength cleaner for best results. Check with local laws before tinting the drive and passenger front window in CA it's illegal

Yes you can. although it is against the law to do too much, my brother has 10 % tint (only lets 10% of light in). All he gets are warnings when he is pulled over. Officers never take that law too seriously.
And have it done by a pro, so there are no bubbles and it looks great.
DO IT it makes your car look cooler plus it is much MUCH easier on the eyes when driving.

YES! You can buy the tinting and do it your self. You just have to be careful and not get air bubbles and creases in it. Some provinces have laws against black tinting, so check it out before you start. Best brand is Gila, you can buy it at Canadian Tire.
Hope this helps....sorry I don't know American stores!

You may want to check with local and state law enforcement to ensure you don't get pulled over. Some cops carry scrappers in their cars.

yes, u have to be very careful not to get air bubbles though, i've done it unsuccessfully. i've gotten it done professionally, and it's worth the $. just make sure they're legal because it's not worth the $ if u have to scrape 'em off, then go to DMV.
