Has anyone else noticed that people who leave negative, rude, or condescending answers usually hide their email address? What are they afraid of? Does this say something about the kind of people they are?

Absolutely, says plenty of who they are - but I think most people do keep their e-mail addresses private, because it is a private domain. The internet/this site is not. People should be allowed to type their thoughts, within reason, without fear of reprisals. Some don't respect the unsaid boundaries , and there's extremes on all sides. People can be all too different at times. Privacy, in this case, is a good cop or ref if you will. You might not see it like that.
Whoever you're pissed at & wanna send nasty hate mail to, you probably think is chickenshit & whatever. Well? Did you consider that maybe you or other people are not being sensitive enough to a very vast audience (www.) when asking or commenting along with your questions. You know - did you, or he ,or she deserve to get some flack/backlash because of what was asked/said ?

I personally leave very constructive and not hateful answers- but I do hide my e-mail. The reason for this- is because I participate on here when I can and only want to be involved with the forum and not an email debates.
I don't have time for that drama.
If there are people who continually leave you rude answers- it is best to ignore them- because getting ppl bent out of shape is whatthey are looking for.

It's unfortunate that some people use forums like this to vent anger and frustration they can't seem to deal with in real life. It may be why they hide their addresses, but sometimes they don't. Rude and negative people sometimes crave attention they can';t get any other way, and email is another form of attention.

It is in my nature to be a little sarcastic, I'm not afraid. I put my face right up there. I don't try to hurt people's feelings, but when people ask stupid questions on purpose, I give smart aleck answers. It's fun for me. I don't mean any harm by it. I even have a little bit of a disclaimer in my 360 page.

Have a good day.

I've never noticed that. Mine is hid because of the people who mine these sites for address lists which they then sell to spammers.

suggest you choose not to be bothered by their comments.
shrug those comments off as silly nonsense.
Everyone does have a right to express their opinions.
it is up to you how you react to them.
