Ya'll pretty much have the same idea... "nature" ... and some "eye candy", at least for those two "gentlemen."

...luv 'em. :)

If I could have a view from my back porch it would be to see the sunrise and sunset over the lake. And also wilderness, I do not want to see cottages or other houses. Watch the birds and animals as the wander into the cleared area, in the yard, and eat what I have put out. It is so peaceful and satisfying. I can only see the lake in the winter because the trees are so tall and full in the summer, but not willing to cut them down until they become dead or dangerous. Love It! I also lived in the cities for many, many years, thought we could never live in this setting, but only 10 miles from a town, which offers everything. It is like finding our own little piece of sanctuary.

I can share with you what I see from my back porch and from the screened in porch that runs across the front.....cattle across both fence lines....mesquite and oak trees under which are naturalized daylilies, amaryllis, cannas, and all the annuals such as nasturiums, stocks, snaps ,etc. When you look down the hill you see the Chilitpin creek which is the border that separates me from a Wildlife refuge. The old galvanized barns hold the farm equipment ready to use to tend to the deer, cattle, farming or the acre garden with too many beauties growing to name. Get in the 'gator' and take a ride in the pastures or get on the mower and ride into the sunset. I am blessed....don't deserve to grow old this way, but I am so grateful to come home and open my eyes each day to only a scenic view that God could create. Thanks for asking this question...getting a little nostalgic!!

Hi. For me, it would be the redwood forest. I'd also have a natural spring on it so the animals could come down and play in it.Than behind all the redwoods, there's the Grand canyon. And after that, the Emerald City, whoops I think I'm getting carried away!
