My husband had it off. We went shopping. I actually got some great deals. Too bad the holiday is all about shopping now. It started as something much better..

I believe that Boxing Day is a celebration that occurs in England on the day after Christmas. I did get the day off but quite a few people didn't have today off.

We all know what we do on Boxing day.Store owners prepare all the boxes for sale for that day. Everybody tries to grab max. boxes.And the term Boxing Day emerged from there.

boxing day is the day after christmas, when everybody goes to the store and returns things. not many people have it off. i dont work though, so i did.
