I drove my Accord home one evening and it was running fine. Got up the next morning to go to work and it would turn over, but not start. Battery is fine. Have replaced distributor cap and rotor, but there is no fire coming from the distributor. What could be the problem?

the ignition system is housed in the distributor. they are known for going bad on a honda. the easiest thing to do is replace the distributor.

Try to find AMSOIL FOAMING CLEANER! it is stronger and more powerful than SEAFOAM is. IT WILL dissolve DEPOSITS on contact, and you are ERY smart for cleaning up the IAC vavle! If you run AMSOIL and GUMOUT through yoru PCV VLAVE< you will clean the MUCK out of the piston rings, valve heads, O2 senosr and converter(s) THIS is important for good running! Modern fuel has LOTS of detergent in it, and will keep the INJECTORS pretty clean. The IAC and T body MUST be cleaned up by hand! <> the O@ sensors sniff for AIR in the exhaust, and send a signal to the IAC to add MOREE air as requried to make the air/fuel mixure CORRECCT! IT salso adjusts the IDLE SPEED! PERAHPS you should get a new ENGIEN TEMP SENSORS< and ONLY GENUINE HONDA coolant shouldEVER be sued in there! Do NOT get fooled by UNIVERSAL coolants, there is NO SUCH THING! JAPANES engiens were engineered a bit DIFFERENTLY from domestic ones. BETTER actually! GO TO HONDA and have your BRAKE FLUID and STEERING fluid flushed and filled. BRAKE FLUDI spoikls, and turns into GOO and slduge and eventaully can ROT seals in CALIPERS< master cylinders and wheel cylinders as well as in the ABS pump! ALL brake fludi should be changed every 3-4 years of use. That is a GREAT car! have the TIMING BELT checked! VERY IMPROTANT! on many HONDA engines a broken belt will bend VAVLES inside the engien! this is NOT the same thing as a serpentine belt! it is the TIMING BELT! KEEP IN TOUCH!

The wire may have came off the crank sensor or the sensor went bad. If the crank sensor is bad the engine will not fire. There could be moisture on the coil wire. I would check that first. Spray the ignition wires with WD-40. That will displace moisture in the wires. If it happened on a real foggy morning, I would suspect grounded spark plug wires. Head for the WD-40.

could be alternator or fuel pump, same thing happened to my 94 honda civic. day before was fine, next day wouldn't turn over. took it to a mechanic and it was the fuel pump.
