At this point, there's no way of knowing. I can think of 4 very qualified people for POTUS who would win, in order from the best chance to the least chance: John Edwards, Barack Obama, John McCain and Hillary Clinton. Any one of them could win. The Dem VP candidate is likely to be one of the three. McCain's VP would be Mitt Romney or Rudy.
Of course, any and all of this could change. it's not even 2007 yet, and we're already talking about 2008.
