Can more than one person play online using the same TV like in Halo 2 In Gears of War?

Yeah I was wondering if you could do that like in Halo where it would say (blah) blah1 blah2 and so on.

Does it matter what profile I have them sign in on because when i tried it, it said that the other profile needed access to xbox live

yes but you will need to have 2 different gamer profiles saved on you 360, when the game start just have the second player press that button in the middle and have him sign in

Yes and there is online co-op. It's an excellent game.
