I really want to like the name Tallulah but it just isn't easy to say. It is easier to say when you say Tallulah Belle (Demi's kid) but just Tallulah doesn't work for me....
How about something similiar but just a little less complicated...
Maybe:
1. Tatum
2. Delilah
3. Delanie
4. Deirdre
5. Tailynn
6. Tenley
7. Tatianna
8. Natalia (Talia)
9. Teagan
Good luck finding the perfect name! SD

Tallulah is a traditional southern name and goes well with the middle name Belle. It is also a maximum security prison for juvenille offenders in Louisiana. I have known both a Tallulah and a Talia and I like both of them - the names and the people.

Personally, I like Talia better than Tallulah, but I like Tallulah a lot. I think it's very old fashioned but different. I'm so sick of the Connors and Rileys and Kaitlyns, and Kaylees.
Good for you for choosing a different name!

I definitely prefer Talia to Tallulah. Here are some more:
Tatiana
Sheriana
Tara
Amelia
Ariana
Isabella
Juliana
Alexandriana (Because, although long, has many nickname possibilities)
Nessarose (like the wicked character)
Victoria (my beautiful name!)
I chose names I thought you would like with your style. Let me know what you end up choosing, and good luck for when you someday have a baby.

Personally I love it!
I know people think it's crazy to name your kid such a unique, obscure name...BUT my real name was the third most common name for my birth year. I had to grow up being one of three or four girls with the same name in all of my classes. It was soooo annoying and I always, always wanted to change my name to something no one else had. Plus, it seemed like all the cool kids in school had names like Mackenzie, Landon, Bennett, Brooker, etc...names that no one else had at that time.
If you're unsure, just make their middle name something 'normal' so if she so chooses she can go by that instead of Tallulah when she's older.

my name is actually Kirsten, but my mother calls me Tallulah as a silly pet name. Neither of us know how it got started, but that is what she has been calling me since I was a baby. I guess I personally think olf it as just a silly name and I can't imagine it being a real name. I suppose if you both like it, you shoulld use it though.

I think it's just ugly sounding....Well, my husband and I were looking for names that maybe reminded us of Vegas since we got married there 2 years ago and it's our fav place. We thought of all kinds of crazy ones ( Newton, Vegas, Elvis...etc. ) and then I came up with Sahara. We stayed at the Sahara Hotel when we got married.......now that we know it's a girl it is one of our choices. Maybe my suggestion will help you come up with a special one of your own. My husband got me a book from the library called,
You Called Me What?: The Sun Guide to Celebrity Baby Names by John Perry (Paperback - Mar 1, 2007)
It's about celebrities and thier baby names..... maybe that will help. We decided Sahara will be the middle name and here is our other choices:
1. Charlotte (Charley for short)
2. Darla
3. Lila
1. Jayden
2. Brandon
3. Joseph

Tallulah is awful. It's bad enough that Demi and Bruce used it... Talia isn't too bad though.
