Well sometimes when I am comfortable I sit with my legs spread apart(like guys do but not that far apart)

Is that bad? Does it send a nonverbal message to guys? I'm a virgin and there's no intention but that I'm comfortable.

Suggestions?

Actually I'm a girl and i do that to. I don't notice until my parents kept telling me that it was unladylike, but I still do it, and I'm the best straightedge kid ever. It's not really that noticeable. Only a perverted guy would think that sitting that way would demonstrate something provocative

Have You ever wondered why it is that Men wear the baggy comfortable clothing that we do? Well now You have learned the answer: because it is ....Comfortable! Why shouldn't You also be entitled to feel relaxed whilst sitting around doing nothing? I know, some fashion fascist will say that You have to keep Your knees together, but why if You don't feel like it? Here is something for You to think about: "Who tells Men wearing shorts to put Their knees together"? Even as We speak I am sitting sat a desk in a pair of shorts, a "T" shirt and thongs. My ankles are crossed and (heaven forbid) My knees are apart. I am comfortable. If You are comfortable and happy with Your posture, then be Yourself. Blokes are not going to hassle You nearly as much as 'politically correct' women will about Your knees.
Remember, if anyone looks at You, take the initiative and ask the "What are You looking at?" Then explain Your reasons for being Who You are , rather than a product of someone else' prudish outlook.

I think it's more of an issue relating to ettiquette rather than a sexual conotation.

As a male, if I were to see a woman sitting with her legs apart, my first thought is that she is likely either a tomboy or a lesbian rather than a modest lady of class.

I vote for comfort. Jeans on, not a problem. Most of us blokes don't pick up on subtle signals, intentional or not. A skirt and going commando is not subtle and definitely not lady like.

it is an attitude of domination. you take place. !!!

if you have no situation where you would show something ... so if you have no miniskirt their is no other message all is ok

but if you have a miniskirt and your underwear could be seen ... the message is clear ... and man will be understanding something that you, obviously, do not want to say so then watch out

kindly

the suggestion is clear ... watch out when you have short skirt else it is ok - do not worry for this !

posture always is sending non verbal messages. I think the message might be I'M lesbian so I sit like a guy. or a want a man, it is not a clear message.

I'm guessing you're a female. It's better not to sit like that, but if you must, make sure there are no males directly in front of you.

In a business setting always cross your legs at the knees if possible if you have a skirt on.

With pants, you don't have to cross legs, but at ankles is good
